Head Gardener
Englefield House, West Berkshire

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Gardener to lead the gardening team at Englefield House. The gardens comprise a mainly private nine-acre, nineteenth‑century ‘Italian’ garden, surrounded by a twentieth century woodland garden. There is also a walled kitchen garden producing a wide range of vegetables, fruit and flowers. The gardens are open to visitors every Monday throughout the year and are the venue for various events and filming.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands‑on gardener with proven garden management experience, strong leadership skills and a collaborative, practical approach. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered, including personal pension, healthcare and life insurance.

To apply: please email your CV to Katie O’Neill at jobs@englefield.co.uk. The job description is available on request. All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
